2. Your Consent is Key

If your story will include video or photographs, we will provide a simple release form. This is to ensure we have your clear permission to use your image and story, respecting your comfort and ownership of your narrative every step of the way.

3. Our First Conversation: Getting to Know Each Other

This is a relaxed, no-pressure meeting where we can connect. We'll talk about your experiences and our project's motivations. Your comfort is our priority: if you prefer, we can keep this first chat completely informal with no recording. This can be done via Google Meet or in person.

4. Diving Deeper into Your Narrative

Typically, our first conversation reveals a powerful anchor for your story. In this second session, we'll gently explore that anchor in more depth. This is when we would ideally like to record audio or video to capture your story faithfully.

Please know: We are flexible. If you prefer to have only one recorded interview, we can absolutely accommodate that.
For the best sound and picture quality, we prefer to do recorded sessions in person, but a Google Meet call is always an option.

5. Your Story, Your Review

Before anything is ever published, you will have the chance to review our work. We will check facts with you and, if applicable, share the edit. This is to ensure you feel completely confident that we are representing your truth accurately and with the respect you deserve.

6. Your Story is Live!

Once we have published on theofwstory.com, we will notify you via email.
